Summary

Scarlette Kelty, a member of AAJ trucking and nursing home litigation groups, will cover current state and federal case law regarding spoliation of evidence and how to get sanctions for spoliation. She will also discuss proper spoliation letters and look at methods to comply with evidence preservation requirements.

Spoliation is most relevant in commercial vehicle litigation cases, but can be an issue in any case where evidence needs to be preserved and where sanctions may be sought for failure to do so.
